My Story

Everyone has their "stories" on how they became Newsies freaks....so here's mine.
May 1992 (approx)- It starts. When I was 2, My older sister went to see Newsies in the movie theatre. When she got home, she taught me part of KONY and had my Mom video tape it. Yes ladies and gents, even as a small child, I knew KONY. Every Year after I moved (to NY....YES!!!) we rented Newsies from Blockbuster. I didn't really care for it (don't ask me why). Then last year (winter 2002) I rented Newsies for our yearly viewing.....and it hit me. I was entirely addicted to it. The video was one week overdue to the library. Not long after that, I purchased the soundtrack. While listening to the soundtrack, I sat quietly in my room on the floor pasting together newsies pictures into what turned out to be a 2 1/2 foot by 3 1/2 foot collage. My nice friend Scram (YAY SCRAM!!!) bought me the DVD for Christmas, and I watch it every single day. Recently, I bought a full Newsies Costume complete with suspenders and boots (YAY!!!), and I created this site. These past few weeks i have been creating a REALLY COOL Newsies version of.....Check back later to find out, because I'm not telling you now for fear you may take my idea (no offense) for it's a GREAT one.
THE END!!!

My Newises Coincidence
As some of you may know, I am in choir, and every year we go to the Long Island Children's choir festival. This year, I brought my Newsies folder which holds my music. Suddenly, by one of my new choir friends, I was dragged across the sanctuary only to meet........ANOTHER NEWSIES FREAK!!! We talked Newsies for a little bit, and sang KONY, and I showed her the KONY handslap routine. It was all VERY COOL!!!!
It's My Birthday!!!
For my birthday, me and 2 of my friends are going to NYC!!!!!!! we're going To yell off the Brooklyn Bridge, and visit Bottle Alley (and The Harbor if you will) Central Park, the NY Times building , Ellis Island, And...best of all...THE HORACE GREELEY MONUMENT!!!!!!!
